3Configuring Your E-mail Program

Mailbox options

1. Open Eudora Mail 5.0. Then click on the Special menu at the top of the screen, then select Settings.

 

2. Click on Composing Mail on the left side.

  • Return Address: any e-mail address you want, or leave it blank.
  • Default Domain: tm.net or leave it blank
  • Any check marks are optional

 

3. Click on Spell Checking on the left. You can customize how you spell check the messages you write. You can do it automaticaly as you type or only when you want to.

 

4. Click on Attachments on the left. It is recommended that you leave BinHex with a dot next to it and a check mark next to Receive MIME digests as attachments.

 

5. You will need to scroll down in the left-hand menu, then click on Replying. You can customize how you reply to someone else's e-mail message.

 

6. Click on Fonts & Display. Here you can specify what fonts you want to use for e-mail.

 

7. Click on Mailbox Display. You can customize how the Eudora window looks in this menu.

 

8. Click on Date Display. Most times the options below will be dotted.

 

9. Click on Styled Text. You can choose how e-mail messages with different fonts and sizes will be displayed.
