Configuring Your E-mail Program Setting Up Internet Mail 3.0 for the First Time 1. Open Internet Mail by double-clicking the icon on your desktop or going through My Computer --> (C:) --> Windows -->Internet Mail.
2. If you have never used Internet Mail before, you will come up to the screen below. Click Next.
3. What ever you type for Name will appear in the "From" field of all your outgoing e-mails. Next to Email Address, type in login_name@tm.net, where you will replace the word "login_name" with your Mercury Network login name. Click Next.
4. Under Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: type in mail.ispname.xxx. Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: type mail.ispname.xxx. Click Next.
5. Next to Email Account, type in your login name, which is the first part of your e-mail address that comes before the "@" sign. Type in your password under that. Click Next.
6. Make sure a dot is next to I use a modem to access my email. Under Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection, Mercury Network should be listed (or any other Mercury dial-up connection you use). Click Next.
7. Click Finish. You're set to e-mail.
