Configuring Your E-mail Program New E-mail Accounts in Netscape Mail 6.0 1. Open Netscape. Click on the Tasks menu at the top and select Mail.
2. Select Edit from the top of the screen and click on Mail/News Account Settings.
3. Click the New Account button in the lower left corner of the window.
4. Type in your name and then your e-mail address beneath that. Your e-mail address is your login_name@tm.net, typed in with no spaces. Click Next.
5. Next to Server Type, make sure POP Mail Server is selected from the drop-down menu. Next to Server Name, type mail.ispname.xxx. Click Next.
6. Your User Name will be the first part of your e-mail address that comes before the "@tm.net." Click Next.
7. The Account Name can be anything you want, or you can leave it as is. It is just the name for the e-mail account on your computer. Click Next.
8. This window is just there to verify that you have entered all of the information correctly. If your e-mail address or login name is misspelled, you can click the Back button to fix it. If everything is correct, click Finish.
