Your FTP Program
Reconfiguring
Cute FTP
1. Click
on your Start button, then click on
Programs in the menu that slides out.
From there, click on the Cute FTP folder,
then click on Cute FTP.
2. When
Cute FTP is opened, it should come right to the FTP
Site Manager window. From there, click on the folder on the
left side that contains the connection information for your web
site. Then select your web site from the list on the right side.
After that, click the Edit button on
the right-hand side of the window.

3. The
following information should be typed:
- Under Site
Label: what ever you want to call your web site
- Under Host
address: if you are using your 10
free MB of webspace with your dial-up account, the host
address should be pages.tm.net.
If you have one of our new web hosting accounts, host address
will be www.yourdomain.com/net/org.
- Under User
ID: your Mercury Network login name should be typed with
no spaces and all lower-case.
- Under Password:
enter your Mercury Network password with no spaces or upper-case
letters.
- Under Host
Type: Auto-Detect
- Login
type: Normal should have a dot next to it.
- Transfer
Type: Auto-Detect should have a dot next
to it.
After all necessary
changes have been made, click OK. Try connecting Cute FTP again
and transfering your files.
