Configuring Your FTP Program

Configuring Netfinder for the first time

1. Connect to the Internet, then open Netfinder. The window below should pop up. Enter the following information:

• Protocol: FTP
• Host: pages.tm.net if you are using your 10 free MB of server space or www.yourdomain.com/net/org if you a web hosting account.
• Username: the first part of your e-mail address that appears before the "@" symbol.
• Password: your password must be entered with no spaces and proper capitalization
• Click Connect.

2. Once you are connected to the Internet and Netfinder is opened up, click on the Bookmarks menu at the top of the screen, then select New Bookmark.

2 a. Enter the following information:

• Type whatever name you want for your bookmark at the top.
• Protocol: FTP:
• Host: pages.tm.net if you are using your 10 free MB of server space or www.yourdomain.com/net/org if you a web hosting account.
• Username: the first part of your e-mail address that appears before the "@" symbol.
• Password: must be entered with no spaces and proper capitalization

Just close out the window and the bookmark will be saved automaticaly.
