Configuring Your FTP Program

Using WS_FTP 95LE

1. Double-click on your Mercury Network icon on the Desktop and connect to the Internet.

2. Click on the WS_FTP button on the bottom right-side of the window.

3. Select your web site from the Profile Name drop-down menu. Then click OK. It will then automaticaly connect you to your web space.

4. The files stored on your computer will appear on the left side of the window. Any files stored in your web space will appear on the right side.

To upload, or save a file to your web space, find the file you want to upload on the left side of the window, then left-click once on it to highlight it. Then click the right-pointing arrow button in the middle of the window.

5. To download, or get a file from your web space, find the file you want to download from the right side of the window, then left-click once on it to highlight the file, then click the left pointing arrow button in the middle of the window.
