Configuring TCP/IP For PPP

1. Click on the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of the screen. Then choose Control Panels and select TCP/IP from the menu that slides out.

 

2. After the TCP/IP window opens, click on File up at the top of the. Then click on Configurations.

 

3. Click once on Default to highlight it, then click the Make Active button in the lower-right corner of the window.

 

4. That will take you back to the TCP/IP main window. Make sure the following items are entered or selected.

Connect via: PPP
Configure: Using PPP Server
IP Address, Subnet mask, and Router address: < will be supplied by server >

Name server addresses: 64.7.161.12 and 64.7.161.13
Domain: tm.net

 

5. After all necessary changes have been made, close out the TCP/IP window. If you get a window that says Save changes to current configuration, click Save.
